A new K-pop couple has been revealed and K-pop fan groups have shared mixed emotions over the news. Leader of the K-pop act Momoland, Hyebin, has admitted to be in a relationship with South Korean singer and rapper Marco of OPUS Entertainment. While the K-pop couple's relationship has been confirmed by Momoland's label MLD Entertainment, a fansite of Marco has claimed that the singer joined a fan chatroom and cleared the rumors about relationship sharing, “No but there have been sayings that I am dating" and added, “It’s totally not true, No… That’s why, I came into the chat room because I wanted to tell you guys not to worry and to let you guys know," Koreaboo reported.

On other hand, MLD Entertainment responded to NewsN's query in May 17 stating, "after confirming with Hyebin, it is true that Hyebin and Marco are in love." Respecting the couple's private life, the media outlets have refrained from adding a date or reporting the timeline of the couple's relationship. Hyebin, 25, who emerged as the winner of the Mnet's survival show 'Finding Momoland' in 2016 hasn't publicly talked about beau Marco yet.

Fansite claims relationship rumors to be lies

According to Koreaboo's report, a fansite of Marco has debunked the relationship as a rumor and lie. The fansite claimed that the singer joined a fan chatroom to clear the air himself. Marco reportedly denied the existence of the relationship and said, “It worries me, in various ways.” and added, “No but, I’ve never had a couple-ring, not once since birth.” Earlier, fans had pointed out how Hyebin and Marco have been sharing photos with the same couple-rings and uploading pictures from similar locations like the Han River and more.

While Marco has been absent from K-pop activities, the South Korean star has been reportedly pursuing more acting projects. He is one of the cast in (G)I-DLE's Miyeon & SF9's member Hwiyoung's web drama 'Replay'. He portrays the character of Shim Taeyoung. Catch a snippet of the web drama below.
