Season two of 'New Amsterdam' is seeing the doctors take several measures to ensure their patients feel cared for, including empowering barbers with medical knowledge, suing the city for neglecting the safety of the citizens, and giving patients the choice between receiving treatment or not.

There is usually always the motto of putting patients first that the doctors abide by on the show, but Iggy (Tyler Labine ) and Bloom (Janet Montgomery) will be seen having to make a very tough decision regarding his patient in the upcoming season two episode five of the NBC series.

From the trailer for the episode titled 'The Karman Line', we see that Iggy is dealing with a kind of patient we have never seen before, and it seems like it is taking a toll on him.

We see that a boy is brought to the hospital by his parents, and upon further consultation with Bloom, it becomes clear that his own sister choked him, nearly to death. And the worst part is it seems like she has no guilt or remorse for her actions.

Obviously, Iggy is brought in to consult, and during his conversations with the girl, it becomes clear that she did it because she could.

In the trailer, we hear her respond to Iggy's question, "Why do you want to hurt your brother?" with "Because I can", in the most matter-of-fact, and chill-inducing tone to very menacing background music.

At one point during their chat, we also see her spitting on Iggy's face as he looks shocked and taken aback. It is clear that Iggy is disturbed by the girl and what must be done.

Clearly, she is someone who needs help, because she does not seem to have any inbuilt sympathy. However, that also makes her extremely dangerous.

How can Iggy come up with a plan that will help her and those around her? Will Bloom help him in this endeavor? We will find out when Season 2 Episode 5 of 'New Amsterdam', titled 'The Karman Lines' airs on Tuesday, October 22, on NBC.
