LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The space for the next James Bond hasn't been filled yet post Daniel Craig, who said his goodbyes to the role in 2021 after the release of 'No Time To Die'. It is unclear as to who is getting recruited to rock the tuxedo and charm his way to complete the mission. After seeing star Taron Egerton in  'Kingsman' as Gary 'Eggsy' Unwin, Egerton has found himself under the rumors that the 'Kingsman' star is going to be the next James Bond. With Many in the line, taking up the throne of the next James Bond and replacing Daniel Craig in the role is a task in itself. After getting tired of the paparazzi and the media always asking about the James Bond update, Egerton finally talked about the rumors explaining his side of the story and what he thinks about the massive espionage franchise.

'They're brilliant films'

In a recent interview, Egerton talked about the controversies and gently denied any rumors that have tied him to the franchise. The 'Black Bird' actor settled the rumors once and for all, and shared that the producers, Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson have already found the next Bond and that he won't be the right candidate for it, "Yeah. I mean, I think they've already got someone, and it's not me. I mean, I've never been a part of the conversations. I've never met the Broccolis. They've never enquired about me. I've just never been one of the guys that they're looking at. I just don't think I'm the right person for that. I think there's much, much, much better candidates for that role than me. But, you know, I'd be a very willing audience member. They're brilliant films" per Total Film (via Games Radar).
