What if everything you knew about a person you loved turned out to be a lie? Directed by Minkie Spiro, 'Pieces of Her' follows the story of Andy, who soon discovers that her mother Laura is not who she thinks she is. The synopsis of the series reads, "In a sleepy Georgia town, a random act of violence sets off an unexpected chain of events for 30-year-old Andy Oliver and her mother Laura. Desperate for answers, Andy embarks on a dangerous journey across America, drawing her towards the dark, hidden heart of her family."

Toni Collette

Toni Collette stars as Laura Oliver in 'Pieces of Her'. Collette is an Australian actress, producer, singer, and songwriter. She has won multiple awards, such as a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. She has also been nominated for an Academy Award, a Tony Award, and two British Academy Film Awards.

She was a part of the Sydney Theatre Company from 1990 to 1991, and appeared in 'A Little Night Music', 'King Lear' and was also in stage productions at the Belvoir Street Theatre.

Collette made her television debut in 1988 with 'Blah Blah Blah', a variety show, as a singer. Her feature film debut came in 1992 when she starred in 'The Efficiency Expert' alongside Anthony Hopkins and Russell Crowe.

She won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for playing Lynn Sear in 'The Sixth Sense'. Her recent works include 'Nightmare Alley', 'Stowaway', 'Odd Squad', 'Dust', 'I'm Thinking of Ending Things', 'Dream Horse', 'Unbelievable', 'Knives Out', and 'Velvet Buzzsaw'.
