The official premise of the show on Netflix reads, "Megastar Jay Chou joins his A-list friends in this globe-trotting variety show packed with music and magic tricks." The show will give viewers the chance to glimpse into Jay’s personal life and candid moments with friends and fans around the world as well as see the group, which also includes Jam Hsaio and JJ Lin performing magic tricks. 'J-StyleTrip' is a weekly travelogue series featuring 12 parts, the first episode of which will premiere on March 21, 2020.

Plot:

According to Netflix, The 'J-Style Trip' series is completely unscripted, and strung together by some of Jay's most beloved and timeless hits, giving viewers an unprecedented opportunity to get a rare glimpse into Jay's personal life and candid moments with friends and fans around the world. It is a show filled with genuine camaraderie, humor and of course, magic. In the show, Jay travels to eight destinations across three continents including The Gold Coast, Innsbruck, Paris, Singapore, Tokyo, Shenzhen, Taipei, and Vienna. On top of the stunning views of the cities and Jay's music, 'J-Style Trip' also features an all-star list of special guests who join Jay as co-hosts in each episode.

He enjoys a massive fan following in Asia and has sold millions of album copies to date and received much recognition and many awards for his music. He's played multiple concerts across the globe and also featured in the film 'Now You See Me 2'. His role in the film as a magic shop owner is becoming a reality of sorts with this series. 

Jam Hsiao

JJ Lin

Lim Junjie Wayne known by his stage name JJ Lin is a Singaporean singer, songwriter, record producer, and actor. Lin has received three Golden Melody Awards in his career, including one Best New Artist and two Best Mandarin Male Singer.
