Netflix is releasing a new sensual, romantic Italian drama series titled Netflix 'Devotion, a Story of Love and Desire' on Valentine's Day. The plot revolves around two people who are deeply in love but something jeopardizes their relationship, causing them to second guess everything, including themselves. As they begin to drift apart and lose faith in one another, they are driven to act on other desires that might end their marriage forever.

According to Netflix, "The series follows Carlo and Margherita, who are deeply in love, but something seeps into their relationship and causes them to mistrust everything, even themselves, Will they be able to deal with the consequences of their choices? A seemingly happy marriage begins to dissolve when the husband's faithfulness is called into question, and both spouses become tempted by other desires."

Who stars on 'Devotion, a Story of Love and Desire'?

Michele Riondino

Michele Riondino is an actor from Italy. In 2006, he starred in Fabrizio Costa's TV series 'The Black Arrow' which aired on Canale 5. In 2008, he made his acting breakthrough in the film 'The Past Is a Foreign Land', for which he won best actor awards at the Rome Film Festival and the Miami International Film Festival.

Lucrezia Guidone

Lucrezia Guidone was born in Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy, on June 3, 1986. She is an actress and has appeared in films such as 'Noi 4' (2014), 'La ragazza nella nebbia' (2017), and 'Thou Shalt Not Kill' (2015).



 

Who are the showrunners?

Elisa Amorusa, Laura Colella, and Alessandro Fabbri have written the script, while Stefano Cipani and Andrea Molaioli have directed the series.
