LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix's latest Christmas movie 'Family Switch', featuring Jennifer Garner, has ignited a firestorm of controversy due to its supposed depiction of an "unnecessary incest" scene.

The Christmas-themed body-swap movie, starring Garner, Ed Helms, and Emma Myers, premiered on the streaming platform on December 1 and has quickly become its most-viewed title.

It presents a unique scenario where a rare celestial alignment causes a transformation within a family of four, resulting in a married couple swapping bodies with their two children.

What's the controversial 'incest' scene from Netflix's 'Family Switch'?

Netflix's 'Family Switch' traces the journey of four family members as they grapple with their unexpected circumstances and strive to find a way to revert to their original bodies.

However, one particular scene has stirred up a storm among Netflix viewers. This scene involves the two children, who have swapped bodies with their parents, being compelled to kiss at a social gathering in front of their mother’s friends.

The daughter, now in her mother's body, enters the room to converse with her brother, who is in their father’s body. One of their mother’s friends advises them that couples require a minimum of 12 kisses a day to maintain a relationship.

Sensing a lack of chemistry between the two, another friend suggests, "Why don’t you guys give a kiss?"

The siblings then find themselves in an awkward situation in front of their parents’ friends, with the sister in her mother’s body, whispering to her brother, "I think we have to kiss."

Unaware of the body swap, their parents’ friends start chanting "Kiss," leading the sister to say, "You have to do it. We don’t have a choice here. Just be a man. Do it fast."

Reluctantly suppressing their revulsion, the siblings then proceed to kiss each other on the lips, as per Independent
