Netflix 'Blood Sisters': 5 things you did not know about Nancy Isime
Netflix has always kept an eye out for content from regions outside the United States. Shows like 'Love Alarm' and 'Las Chicas del Cable' found a home in the streamer and also garnered widespread attention and acclaim thanks to Netflix's reach across the world. Produced by Mo Abudu's EbonyLife Studios and directed by Biyi Bandele, the official synopsis for 'Blood Sisters' reads, "This dramatic thriller tells the story of two friends, Sarah and Kemi. Sarah is engaged to her dream man, Kola, however, their seemingly idyllic union has a dark side – Kola is a physically abusive and controlling fiancé. Despite Kemi’s vocal misgivings, Sarah is determined to press on with the wedding. On the day of the traditional engagement ceremony, tragedy strikes, unintentionally setting off a catastrophic series of events, finding both women on the run." If you're looking for other international content on Netflix, you could start with shows like 'Squid Game', 'Money Heist', and 'Elite.'
