NeNe Leakes denies being 'husband stealer' after being sued by her beau Nyonisela Sioh's ex-wife
On Thursday, NeNe Leakes refuted being a "husband stealer" on Instagram Live after being sued for $100,000 by her ongoing boyfriend's former wife. 'I'm already out here a husband stealer,' added the 54-year-old former 'The Real Housewives Of Atlanta' actress.
The former wife of NeNe Leakes' lover is suing her on allegations that the two had an affair while he was still married. On May 23, Malomine Tehmeh-Sioh filed a complaint against the 'RHOA' alum in North Carolina, stating that the tryst caused her divorce from spouse Nyonisela Sioh. Before his contact with Leakes, Sioh and Tehmeh-Sioh "enjoyed a genuine happy marital relationship” and an "active sexual relationship," according to court records acquired by Page Six. Tehmeh-Sioh alleges Leakes and Sioh were having an ongoing loving, unrestrained, and adulterous affair without his wife's knowledge or agreement. She also claims that Sioh, a clothes designer, lied to her about his whereabouts on many occasions.

'And ain't nobody out here stealing husbands,' NeNe continued as she addressed questions from fans during the live broadcast. With a lighthearted demeanor, NeNe dismissed the charges. ''Nobody want to steal nobody else's problems, honey,' she laughed. According to TMZ, Malomine says in legal paperwork that NeNe and Nyonisela's relationship has caused her emotional misery, mental agony, and loss of affection.
Adultery is a misdemeanor in North Carolina, where the complaint was brought and is described as when any man and woman who are not married to each other 'lewdly and lasciviously associate, bed and cohabit together.' The law of alienation of affection is founded on 18th century English common law, which allowed a husband to sue another guy for the loss of his wife's devotion. Women could not file suit at the time since they were considered the property of their spouses, but the legislation today allows either sex to suit. According to the lawsuit, Malomine is seeking around $100,000 in damages.
NeNe and the men's fashion designer were first seen together in Miami in December 2021, approximately three months after NeNe's partner, Gregg Leakes, perished of colon cancer at the age of 66. On December 15, the Dynasty actress shared some photos from her birthday, which included her new lover. The pair have been out in public since then, attending several events together. Gregg would have approved of her new relationship, according to the reality star, who is presently suing the different corporations behind 'RHOA' for allegedly enabling a racist work atmosphere.
