SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: NCT's Jaehyun has recently turned into a sensation online with fans loving his acting skills in his debut K-drama, 'Dear.M' that was released online last month. Aside from being a member of NCT and its subunits, NCT U and NCT127, Jaehyun's recent venture as the brand ambassador of Prada has given him a lot more global attention. This is why now the visually charming member of NCT has shocked fans as he announced the release of his upcoming solo single, 'Forever Only'.

On August 12, SM Entertainment announced that NCT's Jaehyun was soon going to release his solo single, 'Forever Only', which will be released under the label's project, 'SM Station: NCT Lab'. SM Station is a digital music project by SM Entertainment that was started in order to release one digital single every Friday since February 2016. Jaehyun's upcoming single will be the fourth single to come out of the NCT Lab project under 'SM Station'.

NCT Jaehyun to release 'Forever Only' for NCT Lab

'SM Station: NCT Lab' kicked off back in February this year with Mark releasing his single 'Child' followed by NCT U's Doyoung, Mark, and Haechan releasing 'Conextion' (Age of Light) in March and NCT U's Taeil, Kun, Yangyang's collab single, 'Rain Day' that dropped in July. Now, Jaehyun is set to release 'Forever Only', an RnB track, on August 18 at 6 pm KST (5 am ET).

The single, 'Forever Only', will be the first song released by Jaehyun as a solo artist aside from NCT's group projects. Reports suggest that Jaehyun took part in writing the lyrics of the upcoming single. SM Entertainment stated that the single combines Jaehyun's sweet vocals, outstanding performance skills, and outstanding visuals all together in one single. With NCT, NCT U, and NCT127's global popularity and Jaehyun's solo success, the expectations are high for his upcoming single, 'Forever Only'.
