Spoilers for Season 7 Episode 4 'We All Fall'

Just when we thought there was only bliss and no more trouble in paradise for Tammy Gregorio, something comes up in her relationship with fairly new girlfriend Cara. When Hannah walks in on Tammy and Sebastin discussing Tammy's current girlfriend woes, she asks if they don't like Cara anymore. Tammy answers they like her too well, that's the problem. Hannah believes it should only be a problem if she is married. So is she? It'd be quite the mess if she was, but really, this is what goes down between the two.

In the episode titled 'We All Fall', "The team continues to investigate the murder of an officer who was about to blow the whistle on police misconduct. Pride must get creative in order to finally get rid of the dirty cops; the mayor asks Pride to join her new task force," reveals the official synopsis. However, the episode kicks off with Tammy and Sebastian talking about her relationship issues in the NCIS: NOLA headquarters, when Tammy reveals the real reason behind her and Cara's relationship troubles.

No, Cara is not married, but Tammy wishes she could take her girlfriend to meet her family. She is finally in a healthy, adult relationship and Cara is a lovely woman. But Tammy's mother, let alone anybody in her family, is yet to find out about her sexuality. Tammy is yet to come out to her very catholic and religious mother and she cannot even fathom all the different ways it could go wrong. Hence the dilemma.

At the end of that chat, Tammy decides she is going to tell her mother. In a later chat, she even tells Quentin about the decision and expresses her concerns over her mother freaking out and disowning her. Quentin, like the genuine friend he is, tells her if her mother ignores all the beautiful great qualities about her only for her sexuality then she doesn't deserve to have a daughter like that in her life. It's a wholesome moment, paired by Sebastian even roleplaying her mother for her so Tammy can practice coming out turning into a whole other comedy because of how accurate he is.

In the end, however, Tammy mustered the courage to talk to her mother, and turns out she always knew! All these years Tammy's mother knew about her sexuality and now wants to mee Cara right away. It's a reason to celebrate!

'NCS: New Orleans' Season 7 airs on Sundays at 9 PM only on CBS.
