'The Voice' Season 19 Finale: Why Gwen Stefani won't be back next season? Fans say they'll 'miss favorite coach'

Season 19 of 'The Voice' was nothing short of perfection. From a perfect lineup of incredibly talented contestants to the impeccable coaching by the coaches, everything about the current season was great. The coaches, especially Gwen Stefani, managed to leave fans pleasantly surprised with her coaching style that saw the likes of Carter Rubin and Larriah Jackson discovering their strengths and honing their vocals.

Gwen managed to give reigning champion coach Blake Shelton a run for his money with Carter on her team. The country musician coach has seven wins on the hit reality singing competition show so fans were pleased to see Gwen working hard towards ensuring that Blake wouldn't win this season too. So, when the 'Hollaback Girl' singer announced that she wouldn't be returning as coach for Season 20 of 'The Voice', fans were sad.

Although Gwen didn't reveal the reason behind her exit, this isn't the first time that she's stepping away from her coach duties on the show. In the past too, Gwen appeared on the show on Seasons 15, 17 and 19 as a coach, which has fans convinced that the singer prefers appearing on odd-numbered seasons. So, we wouldn't be surprised if Gwen will return for Season 21 of 'The Voice'.

However, in the meantime, several fans have taken to Twitter to declare that they'll miss Gwen the next season. A fan tweeted, "Merry Christmas Gwen to you and Blake and the boys I will miss you the next season .@gwenstefani #VoiceFinale." A fan wrote, "Hi Gwen, Carter is really good. But I think Jim on Blake's team is the best this season. We'll miss you next season. Come back again!.@gwenstefani #VoiceFinale."

"Gwen we have really enjoyed your charm and grace this entire season. We are going to miss The Voice. We wish you and Carter the best of luck. We love you and Blake. You two are no doubt America's Couple. We love you, Garry and Joanie from Canton Ohio. @gwenstefani #VoiceFinale," expressed a fan. "@gwenstefani #TheVoice Gwen sure hate to see you miss next year. Your my favorite good luck.," commented a fan.
