NBC recently announced a new dating reality show but with a Regency-era twist called 'The Courtship'. The show is described as a mix of 'Bridgerton' and 'The Bachelorette.' 

In this modern variation on the old game of love, the series draws from settings made popular the world-over in Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice.' Nicole Remy, a Seattle lady in search of her own Mr Darcy, appears in the show. 'Pride & Prejudice: An Experiment in Romance' was the official title of 'The Courtship.' The purpose of NBC's new dating series is to prove that chivalry isn't dead. The show features 16 suitors striving for the affection of our heroine Nicole. Who is Jaquan Holland?

Jaquan is a Long Island, New York-based teacher. He'll appear as one of the suitors on the show. Jaquan is a teacher and an absolute ray of sunshine who adores kids and, above all, understands what it takes to love a woman. He's fed up with the fake dating culture of the modern world and instead favors older values like chivalry in the dating scene. He believes in meeting someone naturally in person. Photography, reading and the arts are among his many interests, and he has worked hard to become the greatest version of himself, wanting to offer his best self to his significant other. Jaquan isn't concerned with a girl's social position or the number of followers she has because he wants to connect with the right person on a deeper level. 

The teacher's social media profiles reveal that he is also a fashion model who likes posting photos from his many fashion shoots. Jaquan also has a daughter named Zaias, and on her first birthday, he shared a photo of himself and his daughter with the caption,”👑Princess Zaias first birthday 🥳 🎂 🎉You really think you know what unconditional love is, until you have a child 🤎.
