NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The View' episode on Friday, October 13, came perilously close to losing viewers when Alexandra Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi's daughter, began "yelling" and relaying anecdotes of people excreting in the Capitol during a driven appearance.

Filmmaker Alexandra was welcomed as a guest on 'The View' for the morning episode when 'The Insurrectionist Next Door' creator revealed some interesting remarks regarding her mother's political career.

Despite her "best behavior" pledge, Alexandra, 53, left viewers bewildered with her "loud" and "manic" approach as she talked about her new HBO documentary about the attack on the US Capitol on January 6.

Alexandra Pelosi made an energized appearance on 'The View'

Joy Behar, 81, opened Alexandra's interview segment regarding the current political climate: "The current chaos in the house of representatives would never have happened on Nancy Pelosi's watch, in my opinion."

During a discussion of her new movie, 'The Insurrectionist Next Door,' Alexandra shared her experiences traveling and visiting some of the inmates who were convicted of invading the US Capitol in 2021.

She said, "It's feel good Friday so I'll try to be on my best behavior and try not to get myself canceled," before immediately calling the Republican conference "a bunch of brats" and calling certain legislators having "zero experience."

She asserted: "People were accused of literally pooping in the United States Capitol. That actually happened, I saw it with my own two eyes!" referring to Republicans' argument that those participating "were just tourists."

According to Daily Mail, the sudden withdrawal of Steve Scalise from the campaign to become House speaker on Thursday, October 12, has left the Republican party in a state of paralysis.

Kevin McCarthy, who was unceremoniously removed from the position last week, was to be replaced, but Scalise was unable to garner enough support from his own party to do so.

Alexandra then discussed Democratic Senator Bob Menendez, who was accused of attempting to function as an agent of the Egyptian government and of using his position to defend and advance his business partners and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Alexandra defends mom Nancy Pelosi against retirement calls

Alexandra, whose mother has served in the US House of Representatives since 1987, was initially lambasted Rep Patrick McHenry's decision to remove Nancy from her Capitol "hideaway office" after she left the location last week.

Alexandra criticized the action, calling it "so juvenile" and "petty," and claimed that the House is "self-destructing," per Decider.

She called McHenry's action against her mother a "junior high slight," and Alexandra told the panel, "It’s all very childish and it makes America look pathetic."

While defending her mother against "petty" Republicans, Alexandra changed the subject when Alyssa Farah Griffin questioned her opinion on term limits.

Nancy, who is 83 years old, stepped down as Speaker of the House in 2022, but she has denied rumors that she was retiring and plans to run for reelection in 2024.

Alexandra then added, "If you don’t like Nancy Pelosi, you have every right to vote her out of office. If you don’t like Mitch McConnell, you have every right to vote him out of office."

'The View' viewers 'had to mute' Alexandra Pelosi

Alexandra's behavior confused some viewers watching from home, with one asking on X (formerly Twitter): "Why is Alexandra Pelosi yelling? ..."

A second user wrote, "Something seems way OFF about Alexandra Pelosi !!! Too much caffeine. I’m holding back on what I REALLY wanna say #TheView."

The same user added, "She’s coming off like she’s a wannabe Soprano hopped up on something !!! Not a good representation of her mother!!!"

"I had to mute her," said another.

Another user asked, "Why does she have to yell so much?"
