'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' Season 10: Fans call Whitney 'self-absorbed' as she cozies up with ex-BF Lennie

Fans called out Whitney for having no 'boundaries' as she hired her ex-boyfriend Lennie for work and cozied up to him while talking about her French beau

Whitney Thore and Lennie Alehat are back in each other's life in Season 10 of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life'. But the biggest concern on fans' minds right now is whether they will rekindle their old relationship or remain just friends.

In the recent episode of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life', Whitney requests Lennie to assist her in painting a wall in her No BS Active studio. He seemed an easy choice to her because he is a professional artist and has always been a terrific handyman. Despite Whitney's efforts throughout the episode to define how they would continue a professional relationship while she is in a relationship with her "Frenchman", many find her and Lennie's chemistry strange. Lennie is back on the show after a lengthy absence and is likely to cause drama this season.

Whitney had a relationship with Lennie in 2015. They had been dating for a year and a half. They were unable, however, to make their relationship work. As a result, they broke up and went their own ways. Nonetheless, they stayed friends. And it appears like they are spending more time together lately. Whitney believes the energy between her and Lennie this time is "really good and different." Nevertheless, the 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' star is unsure whether he still loves her. But, aside from money, she hasn't had to give him anything in return.

A lot is happening in Whitney's life right now. Babs Thore, her mother, is in the hospital recuperating after a stroke. Her video producer is quitting her fitness firm, adding to her stress. As a result, she must now find someone else to complete the work. Whitney tells Lennie what the video producer needs to do. The 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' cast member explains the job. He informs her that he is capable of carrying out such tasks. He tells her that he can "jump in that position really easy" instead of her having to hire someone to perform the job.

Whitney, on the other hand, has reservations about employing Lennie. She believes it is simple to “fall back into that kind of dynamic.” However, she thinks she is at a loss for alternatives. And she wishes to devote her entire attention to her mother.

Whitney clarifies that her connection with Lennie isn't "strange". She also believes it is “not anything inappropriate.” They intend to maintain a professional connection. However, it appears that this will not be the case for long.

According to Whitney's 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' co-star, her boyfriend isn't envious of Lennie's constant presence. Whitney would even welcome the opportunity to introduce Lennie to her French boyfriend. Nevertheless, he believes it would be strange. So she asks him whether he has had enough time to recover from their split. "Just barely," he responds.

Looking at the duo fans feel Whitney "needs constant validation from men" and doesn't care about her current partner's feelings. A fan tweeted, "I peeped ahead and all's well with Babs and I dont wanna see one tear shed over French man.. the way that Whitney carries on with Lenny/Buddy..she needs constant validation from men and doesnt care how it looks or makes her partner feel...it's very cringey...#MyBigFatFabulousLife."

Another fan was appalled to see Whitney and Lennie back together (for work) given how he had cheated on her earlier, "Whitney talking to Lenny like she dumped him, asking if he's still in love and gotten over her, hell he was the one cheating and didn't want her, I guess she forgot that part...#MyBigFatFabulousLife."

Seeing Lennie and Whitney cozy up, another fan wrote, "Weird to see Whitney getting cozy with Lenny while still believing the Frenchman is her boyfriend… #MyBigFatFabLife." An OG fan tweeted, "When it comes to Whit and men. Nothing surprises us anymore #MYBIGFATFABLIFE."

Referring to Whitney speaking about how Lennie could still be in love with her, a fan wrote, "Whitney gets more and more self absorbed each season #mybigfatfabulouslife #mybigfatfablife."

Another Twitter user commented on Lenni and Whitney's dynamics, "Whitney doesn’t know the word “BOUNDARIES” it’s so gross to watch #mybigfatfablife."

One fan feels Whitney and Lennie can never work out given their past, "This lenny s**t is not gon work #mybigfatfablife." 

Whitney and Lennie appear to be getting closer this season. In the preview shown at the end of the episode, they are found together in the bed by her brother Hunter Thore. The same preview showed them on vacation in each other's arms.
