'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' Season 10: Fans pray for Thore family as new season comes with devastating news
Whitney Thore's mother Babs Thore is suffering due to severe health problems in 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life'. She is in the hospital, coping with a wide range of issues. Fans are praying for the Thore family as they watch the season premiere, with one of the Thore family's most beloved members fighting for her life in the hospital.
In the new season of 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life', Whitney receives a heartbreaking phone call from her father Glenn Thore. He informs his daughter that her mother Babs is ill. She had another stroke and is currently in the intensive care unit. Whitney's brother Hunter Thore had volunteered to bring Babs lunch. He had barely been gone for less than an hour. When he returned home, he saw his mother laying on the sofa, unable to speak or move. As a response, he dialed 911, and she was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a stroke.

Previously, Babs had a stroke five years ago. Whitney found it tough to watch her mother in a hospital bed. The 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' star wishes it had prepared her for what she is going through for the second time around. She notes that her stroke is distinctive, and they are unsure of her prognosis.
Whitney later discovers that her mother has Covid. She had done everything she could to keep the virus from infecting her parents. However, Babs became afflicted at an inopportune moment. Unfortunately, she was not the only one who became ill. Glenn and Hunter were likewise found to be Covid positive. Whitney, however, did not test positive.
As a result, the 'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' actor was the only one who saw Babs in the ICU. She desired to spend every waking moment with her mother. She had to be cautious not to fall ill. Owing to her weight, contracting the virus could be deadly. Whitney's mother's condition deteriorated after a few days in the intensive care unit. Babs also has a urinary tract infection. The TLC star's mother is also not eating. As a result, doctors had to insert a feeding tube into her.
Fans sent positive thoughts and prayers to the Thore family for Babs' quick recovery after seeing an episode that was heartbreaking from beginning to end. Calling Babs the "main character" on the show, a fan tweeted, "Babs is the main character. She has to be okay #MyBigFatFabulousLife #MyBigFatFabLife."

However, there is good news for fans and viewers. The episode closed with a teaser for the current season in which Babs is making a gradual but steady recovery with everyone cheering her on.
