Following seven successful, ‘My 600-lb Life’ is returning with Season 8, comprising more repelling stories.

Format 

‘My 600-lb Life’ Season 8 will follow a year in the life of obese individuals documented in the form of episodes. Iranian-American surgeon Younan Nowzaradan will help the overweight individuals shed extra pounds by monitoring a strict diet and based on their progress through the process, offers gastric bypass surgery.

Cast 

Season 8 of ‘My 600-lb Life’ features a set of new cast members, all of whom weigh around 600 pounds or more, struggling to lead a normal life while being bogged down by their big bodies and enormous frames.

Creators/showrunners

The TLC reality series is directed by Jonathan Nowzaradan and Conor McAnally. While Jack Tarantino, Cameo Wallace, Ron Bowman, Jeff Keels, Graham Davidson and Tom Mireles serve as the executive producers, ‘My 600-lb Life’ is produced by Megalomedia Production Company.
