NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Mika Brzezinski disapproved of the rapping skills of Vivek Ramaswamy, one of the candidates in the 2024 GOP presidential primaries, on August 14, 20203. Fast forward to August 15, Brzezinski has doubled down on the disproval, but not over his rapping skills this time.

In an interview, Ramaswamy announced that he would pardon former President Donald Trump, if he had the chance and power. Brzezinski raised this issue on the latest news segment of ‘Morning Joe’ as she brutally mocked him and other "Trump apologists".

What did Vivek Ramaswamy say?

‘Morning Joe’ started their segment with a news clip of Vivek Ramaswamy on News Nation. In the clip, Ramaswamy said, “These are political persecutions through prosecution. We the people, you all, get to decide who governs, not the federal police state. If he (Donald Trump) is convicted of these politicized prosecutions, in the interest of moving this country forward, yes, I will pardon him.”

This is the point where ‘Morning Joe’ cut off the clip before moving to Brzezinski in the studio.

“Oh my god,” said Brzezinski after Ramaswamy’s statement about pardoning Trump before she continued, “2024 Republican hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy saying during a town hall last night that he would pardon Donald Trump if he himself is elected President and if Trump is found guilty in one of the cases against him.”

Brzezinski gave a side-eyed look as she pulled some political facts from her arsenal. She said, “But in Georgia that power wouldn’t rest with the sitting President or even the governor of that state.”

Brzezinski continued, “Just for a moment here, a little, I don’t know…hack tip for Trump apologists like him and many others – some Fox News hosts, right-wing networks.”

‘Morning Joe’ host Mika Brzezinski questions ‘Trump apologists’

The ‘Morning Joe’ host then asked all "Trump apologists" to actually go through the indictments and documents, instead of just attacking Hunter Biden.

Brzezinski said, “This is an indictment that is to be taken seriously, and if it is backed up by evidence he could be convicted. And the question is, do you really want to be affiliated with this criminal enterprise? Do you? Good luck with that.”

‘Morning Joe’s official Twitter account also posted a clip of the segment and captioned it, “@morningmika to Trump apologists on GA indictment: "Do you really want to be affiliated with this criminal enterprise?”
