'Moon Knight' just keeps getting better and better. The Disney+ show, now hitting close to 50 minutes per episode, reaches the midway mark while being completely uncompromising on the action and the supernatural. Episode 3 titled 'The Friendly Type' puts the focus on Marc Spector/Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac) and Layla (May Calamawy) as they attempt to stop Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke) from unleashing Ammit.

Khonshu's desperate pleas to the other gods to stop Harrow falls on deaf ears and he decides to take matters into his own hands, but it does come at a cost. After tampering with time in search of a clue to find the location of Ammit's tomb, the other gods capture Khonshu turning him into a stone. The episode garnered positive reactions from fans who actually dished out mixed responses to the first couple of chapters.

"Episode 3 of #MoonKnight is awesome! The supernatural element shines, Marc has some really powerful scenes, and Steven’s finally discovering his purpose. It has its goofy moments but, goofy moments aside, it’s a solid episode. And the action? So good. Can’t wait for 4!" one of the tweets read.

"I'm so excited for next week's episode because of how this episode ended. I know only three episodes are out, but as of right now, Moon Knight is my favorite Disney+ MCU show! I loved the first three episodes so much. #MoonKnight," another fan seconded.

"Episode 3 of Moon Knight is something else. One of my favourites when I watched it a few weeks ago and I feel the same now. The show continues to offer surprising thrills, great character work and amazing fight scenes. Khonshu is great and Oscar Isaac is fantastic! #MoonKnight," one of the comments read.

"Also seeing Gaspard in #MoonKnight made us emotional. He did such a good job from what little we saw of him, and it's very sad he won't appear in future seasons. RIP :(," one of the fans theorized.

The plaudits continued. "Hands down. And it’s not even close. It’s way too early to rank the series as a whole against other #MCU shows, but it’s definitely on track to be the best. SO FAR! #MoonKnight."

Another felt the series got better after the season opener, "The episodes have all been close to 50 minutes and theres still 3 more episodes to go in this omg, I’m really loving the story so far and can’t wait to see where it takes us. #MoonKnight RIP Gaspard Ulliel."
