Fans of K-pop may be overwhelmed but the genre of music is at its peak at the moment with more second and third-generation groups making a comeback this year. With BIGBANG making a comeback in April, GOT7, Blackpink, BTS, and more are likely to return as well. Now, Monsta X is taking the leap and has announced their comeback five months after their last.

Monsta X released their 10th mini-album ‘No Limit’ back in November 2021 and now, the boy group is set to release a new album. On March 23, Monsta X confirmed their new comeback and it has been reported that the members are currently working on the album at present. Monsta X is also set to headline their upcoming world tour in May and June of 2022.

Monsta X to make a comeback in April

All five members of Monsta X’s current lineup are presently focused on their solo activities including Kihyun being the most recent member of the Starship Entertainment group to make his solo debut with his March 2022 EP, ‘Voyager’. Fans of the boy group are now thrilled as they are anticipating a stellar comeback from Monsta X who are talented in the production department with members Jooheon, Hyungwon, and I.M taking charge of the production of many of the boy groups songs from their older albums.

With Shownu on a break due to his military enlistment, members Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, and I.M (Changkyun) will be the only members participating in the upcoming album. Some fans, on the other hand, are expecting former member Wonho - now a solo artist - to join the group for this comeback. With both Monsta X and Wonho making back-to-back comebacks many Monbebes (fans of Monsta X) who are also Wenees (fans of Wonho) are overwhelmed by the sheer number of comebacks featuring the two acts.

‘Come and get broke’

Fans are now taking over Twitter making memes about how broke they are after Monsta X announced an April comeback. One fan said, "With all these comebacks back to back why don't monsta x and wonho just do one together." Another fan joked, "Monsta x during comeback to minbebes, wonniebebes, joobebes, kyunbebes after seeing them wildin’ over kihyun." One more fan said, "February: Wonho's comeback. March: Kihyun solo debut. April: Monsta X comeback. Monbebe in June viewing the status of their savings accounts." One fan said, "Oh my god my first monsta x comeback and I'm not f**king ready for anything."

One fan said, "Tbh right after monsta x finish their comeback and head to their US tour stops wonho will most likely have a comeback as well?"
