How many states participated in Miss USA 2024?
In the Miss USA 2024 pageant, contestants from all 50 states and the District of Columbia participated, making a total of 51 contestants. Each representative competed in various segments, including evening gowns, swimwear, and interviews, for a chance to win the title. The competition was held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California.
The pageant began with an elimination round where the 51 contestants were cut down to the top 20. This selection was based on the scores given by judges during the preliminary competition held the previous Saturday. The next phase featured a swimwear competition.
