Milly Alcock's entire career till now

Alcock first appeared as a teenager in the TV show 'Wonderland,' back in 2014 when she was 14. Some of her other earlier works include Isabella Barrett in 'High Life', Cindi Jackson in Series Three of 'Janet King' in 2017, and appearing in television ads for NBN, Cadbury, KFC, and Woolworths.
Alcock played a runaway teenager Meg, hitchhiking across 2,000 miles of the Australian outback in the Foxtel drama 'Upright', for which she won the Casting Guild of Australia Rising Star Award in 2018 and found recognition. She was also nominated for best comedy performer but unfortunately lost to her 'Upright' co-star Tim Minchin.
In 2021, Alcock landed a recurring role as the young Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen, a dragon rider of pure Valyrian blood in 'House of the Dragon'. Alcock was in Queensland for the filming of the second season of 'Upright' in March.

In a recent interview with Screenrant, she expressed her thoughts on her character saying, "I think that Rhaenyra especially is a fighter. She fights for what she wants, and she doesn't like to take no for an answer. But I think that these two women deal with it entirely differently, and that's what makes the show quite interesting. Because I think that a lot of people can see themselves in Rhaenyra just as much as Alicent."

You can stream the first episode of 'House of the Dragon' on HBO Max if you have not watched it already.
