Megan Thee Stallion, who enjoys 29 million fans and followers on Instagram, hopped on the photo-sharing app for a quick live session on Tuesday, June 28. The ‘WAP’ hitmaker surprised her fans when she sang ‘Thinking Of You’ by Katy Perry. The fans then went into a tizzy after Katy Perry responded to the same with a tweet.
 
The pop queen shared a tweet where Megan Thee Stallion can be seen passionately singing her hit 2009 single on her Instagram Live. The renowned singer captioned the post in a manner that made the fans think the two might soon end up on a song together. If this was not enough, Megan Thee Stallion too did not waste any time in reverting to Katy Perry’s tweet quickly breaking the Internet.

While sharing Megan Thee Stallion’s Instagram snippet from a fan’s account, Katy Perry tweeted, “Omg lez duet ily Meg THEE katycat”. Megan, who seemed equally ecstatic with the singer’s tweet, shared that she was up for the duet and dropped a hint that the two should do a song. “Omg yes hot girl Katy ! Let’s do a song”, tweeted Megan while adding multiple fire emoticons in the end.
 
The two might have dropped a hint on coming together for a song but nothing has been official yet. MEAWW will keep you posted. If Katy Perry joins hands with Megan for a song, it won’t be the first time when she will be collaborating with a female rapper. The 37-year-old songstress earlier worked with Nicki Minaj on her 2017 banger ‘Swish Swish.’
