MBC's 'ISAC: Hall of Fame': How to stream, airdate and all about talk show featuring stars from SHINee, Stray Kids, Highlight and more
While fans won't get to see this year's 'Idol Star Athletics Championships', a popular annual South Korean show featuring K-pop stars participating in sports events, MBC is offering the perfect replacement.
In December, MBC announced that the show will not be airing this year due to the recent increase of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Korea. The social distancing level has also risen to 2.5 in the Seoul metropolitan area and the show typically features idols in close proximity with one another as they participate in sports.
However, MBC has understood the show's popularity and fans' needs to see their favorite stars in action, and are set to broadcast a new special talk show, titled 'ISAC: Hall of Fame'.
Here's all you need to know for 'ISAC: Hall of Fame' below.

Concept
The new show will feature legendary 'Hall of Famers' who have appeared in previous 'Idol Star Athletics Championship' competitions such as SHINee's Choi Min-ho, Highlight's Yoon Doo-joon, BTOB's Minhyuk, and more. According to Soompi, the idols will share commentary of their records and share behind-the-scenes stories from their memories of 'ISAC' over the years while the show will let fans watch iconic moments in previous events. 'ISAC: Hall of Fame' will also traditionally be in celebration of the Lunar New Year.
According to Koreaboo, the 'ISAC' production team spoke about the new rendition of the show, promising continued delight for viewers. "This event was specially planned for the fans who have shown their interest and given us their love from their homes," they said, adding, "We are in a situation where we have to stay at home and social distance during the holidays, but we will do our best to continue bringing you smiles."
It hasn't been confirmed yet if the idols will perform any music on the upcoming show, but 'ISAC' is known for tapping in some of the biggest K-pop stars as guests and allowing fans to see a very different side to them. There may be more surprises in store.
