Spoilers alert for Season 2 Episode 6 'Muluc' of 'Mayans MC'

After Adelita (Carla Baratta) was captured by Potter (Ray McKinnon), fans speculated that the Reyes brothers' hunt for the identity of the person who ordered the hit on their mother would be put on hold.

However, Adelita's rescue mission ended in dismay, specifically for Angel (Clayton Cardenas), after she revealed at the end of the episode that she must stay back in Potter's clutches in order for him to leave the rebels alone.

In 'Muluc', however, the Reyes brothers are back at it! The episode began with a distressed Angel waking up to shoot some loud crows (with a water gun, although a real gun wouldn't have been surprising either given what he is going through) outside his window.

EZ (JD Pardo) rushes in to check if everything is alright. Season two has been full of conflict for Angel. He had only just found out the true identity of his father Felipe (Edward James Olmos) and that his mother Marisol was shot dead by 'Sons of Anarchy' character Happy (David Labrava).

That discovery led the brothers to the information that the hit came from Les Packer, the Sons of Anarchy president for the San Bernardino chapter. Before they could dig deeper, a very pregnant Adelita was captured by Potter, who he plans to keep hostage until she delivers and then use the baby as bait.

In 'Muluc', Happy arrives at the Mayans MC garage to have a conversation with Angel and EZ in person. They move to EZ's trailer, where the trio discusses new information that Happy has.

The 'Sons of Anarchy' fan-favorite reveals that after lying to Packer, he managed to unveil more details about who ordered the hit on Marisol. As he had earlier mentioned, Packer keeps a record of all the hits that go through him.

And rightly so. The documents suggest that his payment was sent by Western Union from the Hermosillo branch, which is in Sonora, Mexico.

Coming from Mexico could only mean one thing — that the hit came from the Galindo Cartel, Miguel Galindo's (Danny Pino) father Jose Galindo. However, their meeting is cut short when Tranq (Frankie Loyal) interrupts them with news of El Padrino's (Emilio Rivera) abduction.

Jose Galindo seems about right. He perhaps discovered Felipe's (back then Ignacio) affair with his wife Dita (Ada Maris). This is all the more justified had he figured out that Miguel is really Felipe's son. But is he coming to that conclusion this easy? Or is there a surprise in store from creators Kurt Sutter and Elgin James?

'Mayans MC' airs Tuesdays at 10 PM on FX.
