Matthew's 'cold personality' didn't sit well with many fans who thought he wasn't meant for the Netflix show

DALLAS, TEXAS: In the first episode of Netflix's 'Love is Blind' Season 6, it appears Matthew's personality has turned off many viewers due to his perceived coldness. Instead of engaging in natural conversation, he opted for a prepared questionnaire, which didn't sit well with the audience and set a negative tone.

Things got more confusing during the pod interactions when Matthew abruptly left while the women were still talking. This raised concerns among viewers, hinting at the possibility of him isolating himself and potentially not finding a match on the show.

To add to the confusion, Matthew made a statement that he wasn't on the show for love. This baffled viewers and contradicted the whole premise of 'Love is Blind', a dating show focused on emotional connections rather than physical appearance. The combination of his distant behavior and conflicting statements created a negative impression right from the beginning, with viewers suggesting that he would be left single forever.

"Matthew is gonna be 4 ever alone," tweeted a user. "Matthew really doesn’t speak to anyone. Like not even a hi, bye, thanks in the men quarters. Do you have friends in real life? Cause it’s giving you loner and people get uncomfortable around you," added another. "Matthew is ghosting women on #LoveIsBlind lol," said one. "Matthew why are you here," wondered another.

Others suggested that he rather go home than be on the show. "Matthew… now why are you on this energy. I need to know his sign," said one. "Matthew go home. You should’ve started doing speed dating events before coming on here," added another. 

Who was Matthew's connection on 'Love is Blind' Season 6? 

Matthew formed connections with two women on the show: AD (Amber Desiree) and another contestant also named Amber. Initially, Matthew seemed to have a strong connection with AD. He openly expressed his feelings by asking her hand in marriage and even suggested that they both leave the show together, indicating a significant level of commitment.

However, despite this, Matthew also reciprocated romantic energy with Amber, whom he started flirting with after his connection with AD. This created a bit of confusion as viewers observed a high level of emotional investment with AD, but Matthew was still open to exploring a connection with Amber.

Why did Matthew leave 'Love is Blind' Season 6? 

Matthew's journey on the show took a dramatic turn when was Amber left heartbroken after discovering that he had been playing with both her and AD's feelings. Despite Matthew expressing a steadfast connection with AD, even suggesting that he was on the show for her and proposing marriage, it was later revealed that he had been saying similar things to Amber.

Upon being confronted by AD about his dual expressions of commitment, Matthew admitted that his feelings for AD were stronger and deeper than those for Amber. However, the guilt of hurting both women weighed heavily on him. In the end, overwhelmed by the consequences of his actions, Matthew made the decision to leave the show.
