'The Bachelor' Season 25 came to an end and this time, without a proposal. For the unversed, Matt James decided to hold back the proposal as he wasn't "ready" yet but confesses his love for suitress Rachael Kirkconnell nevertheless. After dumping Michelle Young, Matt presented the last rose of the season to Rachael.

But, before handing over the rose, he explained his reasons to her and told her he wanted to take their relationship forward as he can see a "future" with her. He even told Rachael he "loves" her and can see her as the "mother of his kids."

For Rachael, the last episode was a wild ride as she wasn't aware of Matt's decision. Throughout the episode, she established how hard it had been for her to wait until Matt pick's his final suitress. She was evidently anxious, but was soon back to normal and was even excited when Matt finally told her he "loved" her and everything that followed.

However, the whole episode doesn't seem to have sat well with the audience as they aren't finding the love between Rachael and Michelle convincing. Many have pointed at their "connection" which according to them barely existed as they never had a "real conversation".

Furthermore, Matt and Rachael can be seen saying "I love you" to each other a lot soon after the rose ceremony, which has painted a "fake" image of their relationship.

Commenting on the finale, one Twitter user wrote, "That kiss between Rachael and Matt after declaring their ‘love’ for each other was very underwhelming... #TheBachelor " Another added, "My tv started glitching as soon as Matt professed his love to Rachael. It’s a metaphor #TheBachelor " One tweeted, "I think Matt just thought Rachael was really hot. He aint love her. #TheBachelor ". Another fan asked, "If Matt sees Rachael as his wife and mother of children already now... then why not propose?? Make it make sense, Matthew. #TheBachelor." One tweeted, "Rachael deserves better. Matt ran the first chance he got. When you truly love someone, you stand by their side and help them though their toughest battles. #TheBachelor "
