The new season sees seven couples, including two from the previous season navigating their way around a healthy relationship that doesn't revolve around money. And we know, the pretext of this show almost makes it seems like we're going to be seeing a ton of sugar babies tying the knot to their much older spouses. We aren't going to lie, there are a few.

Donovan Ruffin is a self-made man, who has built his empire from the ground up. He currently runs two companies Ruffin Real Estate Investments and Equity Cash Offer. Apart from this, he has additional sources of income via his owns 8 rental properties in Texas. With a net worth of nearly $13 million, according to Lifetime, Ruffin is a millionaire that has forged his path. His childhood wasn't easy though, seeing that he's worked exceptionally hard for everything he has.
Ruffin grew up in Oregon, Ohio. His parents were divorced and he, along with his five siblings were raised by his mother, who worked hard to provide for her children. Ruffin started working at the age of 18 and soon began flipping houses in Texas, something that he was rather passionate about. Ruffin has a mind for business, seeing that at 20, he was already running a multi-million dollar marketing company.
Who is Daniela Michelle Parra?
Daniela Michelle Parra, who often just goes by Dani, was born in Mexico, where she stayed until the age of seven. However, once her parents got divorced, she moved to the USA with her mother, the family shifted to Dallas, Texas. It was here that she met Ruffin, who was in the same school as her. At the time, they were just friends, seeing that Parra was in a relationship and Ruffin was not interested in dating. After going to colleges and completing her degree in Marketing and Data Analytics, she returned to Dallas, where she met Ruffin again. However, this time around, the two felt a connection and began dating. It got serious pretty quick, as she turned down job offers in order to be near him. This led to the first of their issues, seeing that after months of being unemployed, Parra decided to work for Ruffin. Parra was also active in the pageant scene, something that she and Ruffin often butt heads about.

Concerning the couple's storyline, there is an imbalance in the power dynamic, seeing that Parra is not that high up in the company but at the same time, she's in a committed relationship with the CEO. Maintaining a healthy work-life and personal relationship is something the couple seems to be struggling with.
