'Married At First Sight' Season 11: Karen thinks Miles isn't her type, fans ask her to 'stop being negative'

Marrying a stranger is not easy. In typically arranged marriages, the couples meet and date for a while to know and learn about each other before they can take the big leap. But in 'Married At First Sight,' everyone's kept in the dark till the time the couple meets at the altar. But, nothing is set in stone. This season will indulge in some rule-breaking.

Karen and Miles have been matched by the experts on the show but looks like this could be a wreck given how unsure Karen gets after she receives an anonymous text that had all of Miles' information: his occupation, name, and such. Karen acknowledges that she wasn't supposed to receive such a text because it's usually against tradition to know the partner's background details ahead of the wedding.

However, the bigger problem here is that she is now confused about whether or not she should tie the knot. "And, I will tell you honestly, like... he's not really my type," Karen said in the preview clip. Getting hitched is a serious decision and a lot of thought goes into it. People who have known each other for years fear to take the big step, and these couples are doing the unthinkable as per many fans.

As we have seen in the previous seasons, some of them gel well and seem to be willing to grow together, others fall apart like a house of cards. Meanwhile, fans are confused as to why people, who are not fully sure of getting married and are aware of what 'MAFS' stands for, still go for it.

"I don’t get how after all these seasons, people still choose to go on this show knowing that the person they end up with might not be their type. Now I know from this clip we don’t know what’s going to happen but it annoys me to hear these people complain. I get it in the first 1-3 seasons but enough at this point. Don’t go on if you aren’t will to risk it," a fan commented, to which another responded, "Seriously!!! I said the same thing, these people know what it is and clearly their USUAL type hasn’t worked out for them because their still single so why not give it a shot and stop being so negative."
