Marrying a stranger is never easy but some are able to connect instantly. For others, it's a lot of work and team effort. Brett and Olivia tried every possible way to make their marriage a success but lack of communication and both having their walls up sort of pulled them down.

On decision day though, Brett seemed hopeful about their future but Olivia had checked out and one could see it coming with her expressions throughout the session with the experts. However, they called her out by saying that she was looking for something "specific" in her husband, which she didn't communicate.

This came after Brett said he did all he could to ensure that they felt like a married couple such as going to the store and cooking. But Olivia was not ready to appreciate those efforts. She even dismissed the few texts Brett sent to her during the time they were living in different apartments. Olivia was clear with her words and said that "honey" and "wifey" don't mean much when they are living separately. Her issue with Brett was he didn't do those things when they were together.

Meanwhile, fans felt sorry for Brett and said that Olivia is too "entitled" to see that Brett was interested in exploring their marriage further.

"Don’t feel Olivia gave it a chance at all. Shocks me that’s she feels she’s so entitled. Nothing Brett could have done to make her happy. I didn’t even like Brett initially. Felt sorry for him in the end. My $.02," a fan commented on the show's Facebook page. Another said: "Olivia’s behavior tonight was eye opening. She told on herself. She wasn’t really attracted to Brett so she was internally picking him apart the entire time. He was screwed no matter what he did because of the things she was mentally holding against him and never openly communicating and that’s so unfair."

"I felt bad for him after watching that. He owned his mess. He knew he didn’t do everything right but it was obvious that he wanted her. She got in her own way and never gave it a fighting chance because she really thought he was beneath her and annoying. That’s a shame," a user expressed.

The 'Married at First Sight' season finale aired on Lifetime on October 28, Wednesday. For more information, check your local listings.
