Kate Winslet as Mare Sheehan
‘Mare of Easttown’ will be Winslet’s first TV series in the last 10 years. She was last seen in HBO’s ‘Mildred Pierce’ in 2011. In all honesty, Winslet needs no introduction. She has been one of the most iconic actors of this generation and has given many mind-blowing performances throughout her career. Born on October 5, 1975, Winslet made her feature film debut in 1994 with Peter Jackson’s ‘Heavenly Creatures’. The actress was praised for her acting and started to get a plethora of great film offers.
In 1995, she received her first-ever Oscar nomination in the Best Actress category for her role in the movie ‘Sense and Sensibility’. Two years later, in 1997, she was cast in the movie ‘Titanic’ and delivered one of the finest performances of the year. The actress also has to her name a host of Oscar-nominated roles between 2002 and 2007. ‘Iris’, ‘Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’ and ‘Little Children’ are some of the movies she has appeared on.

Guy Pearce as Richard Ryan
Interestingly, this is Pearce’s second TV show with Winslet. In 2011, he starred alongside Winslet in the series ‘Mildred Pierce’. Pearce is an accomplished actor who started his acting with the show ‘Neighbours’ in 1996. However, he gained a lot of prominence after making an appearance in the movie ‘LA Confidential’ and was nominated in the Outstanding Performance by a Cast category at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
The actor would go on to mesmerize the viewers with a breath-taking performance in Christopher Nolan’s ‘Memento’. David Denman as Frank Sheehan

He also made guest appearances in shows such as ‘The X Files’, CSI: Miami’ and ‘Without a Trace’. He made his feature film debut with ‘The Replacements’ in 2000. He worked on various projects such as ‘Night Stalker’, ‘Big Fish’ and ‘The Singing Detective’ between 2000 and 2005.
In 2005, Denman was cast as Roy Anderson in Season 1 of ‘The Office’. The actor was a part of the main star cast in Season 2 and Season 3. He won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series accolade for ‘The Office’ at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2007. Apart from the aforementioned titles, his film credits include ‘After Earth’, ‘Jobs’, ‘Logan Lucky’, ‘Brightburn’ and ‘Greenland’.
Julianne Nicholson as Lori Ross
Nicholson started her career as a model and then moved to New York to resume her studies. While in New York, Nicholson supported herself by waitressing and eventually left school to study acting and begin her professional career. In her first feature film role, Nicholson starred opposite Michael Caine and James Spader in ‘Curtain Call’.Her breakthrough role came in the form of Peter Chan’s ‘The Love Letter’.
Among Nicholson's television credits are a supporting role in the television miniseries ‘Storm of the Century’ and guest-starring roles in ‘ER’ and ‘Law & Order’. In 2000, she portrayed the character of Ella Smalley in the movie ‘Tully’ and received her first Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female. A few years later, she starred alongside Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, Benedict Cumberbatch and Ewan McGregor in the movie ‘August: Osage County’.
Nicholson received universal acclaim for her acting and received nominations at the Screen Actors Guild Awards and Hollywood Film Awards.
Jean Smart as Helen Sheehan
Jean Smart is one of the most prominent names in the entertainment industry since 1979 and started her career by appearing in several theatre productions. The actress has featured on many award-winning projects such as ‘Guinevere’, ‘Frasier’, ‘The District’, ‘24’, ‘Fargo’ and ‘Watchmen’.
