Enhypen get their second million seller album with 'Manifesto: Day 1'

Enhypen truly is on a roll and is living up to their title as monster rookies. After becoming the youngest K-pop group to get a million-seller album, they now have made another achievement in their short career in the K-pop industry. The boy group has become the youngest to debut on Billboard 200 at #6. This also happens to be the first time entering the top 10 as their previous album ‘Dimension: Dilemma’ had debuted at #11 on the same chart. Enhypen fans were further impressed as ‘Manifesto: Day 1’ is the third newest top-selling album following Beyonce’s ‘Renaissance’ and Ateez’s ‘The World Ep.1: Movement’.

Enhypen also extends their record as the fourth-gen group with the most debuts in the top 20 of Billboard 200 with a total of four albums. This achievement is further impressive as there was a slight hitch in the shipment of the albums which is why the boys charting on Billboard was delayed. It should be noted that ‘Manifesto: Day 1’ was released on July 4, however, the physical copies for international fans were sent 25 days later. Insiders had predicted a top 15 debut on Billboard. But Enhypen still managed to sell out more than 39k units in USA and enter Billboard 200’s top 10.

Enhypen debut on Billboard 200 top 10

Well, Enhypen debuted in November 2020 and is soon to graduate from their rookie years. But that hasn’t stopped them from racking as many achievements as they can as they became the fastest and youngest boy group to enter the top 10 of Billboard 200 in only 1 year and 9 months. ‘Manifesto: Day 1’ is also doing well in other major markets as it debuted at #1 on the United World Chart and ranked at #2 in the second week and was #2 on the World Top 10 Albums Chart.

Meanwhile, this is also Enhypen’s second million-seller as ‘Manifesto: Day 1’ crossed over 1.2 million sales in the first week on Hanteo Chart making them the second highest fourth-gen boy group to do so. They are also set to go on their first world tour which will begin on September 17 in Seoul.

One fan was impressed as they tweeted, “Antis after shitting on my boys unprovoked only for them to debut number 6 on bb200 making them the fastest boy group to enter top10 on bb200.” Another Engene was proud, “Notice how they keep on climbing higher with each album? From 18 >14>11>6  They always break their own records. Always aiming higher and improving.That’s what we call growth.” One fan posted, “They dint even complete 2years yet ... Its so scary to see how talented they are at this age ... imagine them in 3-5 years !!!” Another commented, “Delay for 25 days and without US label, enhypen did that!! slayyy ENHYPEN ON BILLBOARD 200.”
