LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Manhunt' Episode 5 officially premiered on Apple TV+ on Friday, April 5, leaving fans eagerly anticipating the release date of the next episode.

'Manhunt' features Tobias Menzies as Edwin Stanton, Anthony Boyle as John Wilkes Booth, Lovie Simone as Mary Simms, Matt Walsh as Dr Samuel Mudd, and Hamish Linklater as Abraham Lincoln in pivotal roles.

In 'Manhunt' Episode 5, Booth and David Herold (Will Harrison) mistakenly traveled back to Maryland instead of reaching their intended destination of Richmond, Virginia.

Booth and Herold remain undeterred, disguising themselves in Confederate soldiers' uniforms to continue their journey towards Virginia.

As the episode progresses further, a man advises Booth and Herold to relax at Garrett's farm. Booth sought treatment for his injured leg at the farm, aiming to continue his journey to Richmond.

On the other hand, Edwin Stanton spared no effort in his quest to uncover Booth's whereabouts. He also visited Mudd's house to gather clues that could potentially lead him to Booth's location.

In the last scene of 'Manhunt' Episode 5, Stanton learns that Booth has been receiving treatment at Garrett’s farm. This information fuels Stanton's determination to capture Booth, setting the stage for dramatic confrontation in Episode 6.

In 'Manhunt' Episode 5, titled 'A Man of Destiny,' Stanton's health starts to deteriorate as the manhunt for Booth intensifies.

Stanton uncovers initial clues from Dr Mudd, who treated Booth's broken leg. Later, he receives key information from a Confederate soldier about Booth's whereabouts, marking a crucial breakthrough in the manhunt.

Booth remains unaware that Stanton knows about his location at Garrett's farm, setting the stage for a tense and suspenseful showdown in 'Manhunt' Episode 6.

Given Booth's intelligence, he might decide to leave Garrett's farm if he senses any danger or suspects that Stanton is closing in on him.
