When 'Mama June: Family Crisis' returned with its 10th episode, it was an overwhelming one for both cast members and viewers. Lauryn Michelle 'Pumpkin' Shannon has a lot on her plate - she and her family have been forced to vacate their home because her mother, June Edith 'Mama June' Shannon, owed bad guys drug money. This incident has landed them in a hotel room, which Alana Frances 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson isn't fond of but learning to live with it. A cranky teenager in the house can be quite a task. In addition to this, Pumpkin is also contemplating meeting with Mama June, especially after her wanting to meet with her in boyfriend Geno Doak's absence.
Clearly, there's a lot going on in Pumpkin's life and she doesn't need more drama but cannot escape it with Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson and Jennifer Thompson breathing down her neck about Honey Boo Boo's custody. In today's episode, Sugar Bear and Jennifer arrived at Pumpkin's hotel to slap her with a court notice that will help them attain full custody of Alana.
However, the couple was smart enough to drop the bomb before learning about their whole situation and what pushed them out of their house. Josh Efird said it was confusing times for them because Alana's in her teens and it's tough to get a read on what is going on in her mind. From all of her conversations so far, we know that she wants to get back to the house and with Mama June.
Meanwhile, fans think Jennifer only wants to go for full custody because she wants her share of fame. Alana is a known face and has been one of the major highlights of the show. Viewers speculate, that by being with Alana, Jennifer will get her "15 minutes of fame."
