June Shannon aka Mama June's efforts to reconcile with her daughters backfires

GORDON, GEORGIA: 'Mama June: Family Crisis' latest episode brought tons of explosive feud and emotional drama. June Shannon aka Mama June reached out to her daughters, Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efird, and Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson, to mend her strained relationship.

However, Mama June's efforts backfired as her daughters were still not ready to forgive June for saying she would rather give up custody of Alana than pay child support. Mama June's sister, Jo 'Doe Doe' Shannon, hoped on the mother-daughter drama train to help them reconcile. 

Doe Doe's efforts to mend Mama June and Pumpkin's relationship

In the latest episode of 'Mama June: Family Crisis', Doe Doe talked to Pumpkin pushing her to consider reconciling with June. Doe Doe and Pumpkin also talk about Mama June popping up unexpectedly. Doe Doe asked Pumpkin if there was any chance for reconciliation with June shortly. However, Pumpkin said, "Honestly, if she’s got that attitude of 'I'm your mom. You know, y’all got to get over the past.'" Pumpkin then made it clear, "No, I'm not reconciling sh*t."

However, Doe Doe also reached out to June after the reality star revealed how her children didn't want to talk to her. Doe Doe tries to explain that June's daughters can do what they want and have every right not to talk to her. She also explained to June that her daughters wanted to see her efforts. Doe Doe said, "She wanted to know you are willing to fight."

'Doe Doe be fighting hard for June when it comes to the girls'

'Mama June: Family Crisis' viewers hail Doe Doe for always being there for June and her daughters. A social media user tweeted, "Doe Doe has been more of a mother to the girls than June has the last couple of years. It’s not Doe Doe’s fault the girls are mad. It’s June’s fault and she needs to own that instead of trying to manipulate the situation and play victim like she always does." A viewer added, "Doe Doe be fighting hard for June when it comes to the girls yet June doesn’t see that and thinks she’s overstepping." A third fan wrote, "Doe Doe is always have the girls back and its understand but it was good seeing her embrace June for a change." One fan said, "Doe Doe tryin to help your dumbass and u wanna talk shit." While another fan suggested, "June needs to listen to Doe Doe…leave them alone."
