Former 'Project Runway' team Tim Gunn and Heidi Klum are reuniting for yet another fashion competition series and this time it'll be up on Amazon Prime Video.

Release date

'Making The Cut' premieres on Friday, March 27.

Plot

Former host Heidi and mentor Tim are once again coming together to push 12 talented designers and entrepreneurs further into the creative world of fashion. They will compete in New York, Paris and Tokyo to put together couture as well as accessible looks that can be sold online.

What's interesting is, just like how 'Project Runway' allows viewers to shop looks from flash sale episodes (which are few and far between), 'Making The Cut' too will let its viewers buy the winning look of each episode immediately after it airs. It will be exclusively available on the 'Making The Cut' store on Amazon.

The winner gets to walk away with $1 million to elevate their business or clothing line. In addition to this, the master designer will also have access to a mentorship with Christine Beauchamp (Amazon, Fashion Head), and get an opportunity to showcase his/ her clothing line on Amazon.

The streaming giant will drop two episodes each week for five weeks. The finale is scheduled for April 24.

Cast

On the judges' panel are supermodel Naomi Campbell, actress-TV personality Nicole Richie, designer Joseph Altuzarra, Vogue Paris Editor-In-Chief Carine Roitfeld and fashion blogger and influencer Chiara Ferragni along with Heidi.

Showrunners

Heidi and Tim are executive producers with Sara Rea, Page Feldman and Jennifer Love as showrunners. The design show is directed by Ramy Romany and produced by Amazon Studios and SKR Productions.
