Founded by hip-hop icon Jay-Z in 2012, the Made in America Festival is all set for the 2021 edition with a brand new line-up. The official social media accounts of the renowned music festival shared the good news on Monday, June 14, revealing that the 2021 edition will take place in September marking its 10th anniversary. This year, music lovers will also get to attend festivals such as Lollapalooza and Rolling Loud NYC as they were canceled last year due to the unfortunate global pandemic.

The Made in America Festival also stylized as MIA Fest was last held in 2019 where artists like Travis Scott and Cardi B mesmerized the audience as the headliners. The event also saw performances from Juice WRLD, James Blake, Kaskade, Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Kodak Black, Bazzi, Jorja Smith and rapper Blueface, among others. Speaking of music festivals, one of the biggest music festivals on the planet, Coachella will also open its gates to visitors in 2022.

Date and venue

Just like every year, the 2021 edition of the Made in America Festival will be held at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In 2019, the fest was simultaneously held in Los Angeles, California. The dates for this year have been locked on 4th and 5th September, which falls on a weekend. Produced by Live Nation, the event mostly focuses on R&B, hip-hop and EDM.

Tickets

The tickets for the Made in America Festival 2021 are already live on the official website. Fans can simply get their hands on the two day passes for a cost of $150.



 

How to live stream

Those who won’t be able to attend the coveted music festival in person can simply live stream the event. Jay-Z, who owns the streaming platform TIDAL, will allow the fans sitting at home to thoroughly enjoy the performances. 

Line-up

The official Twitter and Instagram account of the Made in America Festival shared the fresh line-up for 2021 which included top artists like Justin Bieber, Lil Baby, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tinashe, Lil Durk, A$AP Ferg, Bobby Shmurda, Moneybagg Yo, Freddie Gibbs, and others.



 



 



 

What is Made in America Festival about?

Putting the spotlight on different genres, the event brings top artists from around the world to entertain music lovers. The Made in America Festival 2021 will benefit the ACLU of Pennsylvania and also the REFORM Alliance. Talking about the latest edition as reported by Pitchfork, Jay-Z in a press release said, “This year will be like no other, as Made In America celebrates 10 years of music history making moments.” The hip-hop legend added, “The artists’ performances will be even bigger and Cause Village will host a wider range of amazing philanthropic organizations. We look forward to sharing incredible memories with our festival attendees and the city of Philadelphia.” The very first edition of the Made in America Festival had grossed $5M in ticket sales and attracted nearly 80,000 people.
