The Dream Wife, an English, London-based group, are set to trek the UK for a headline tour in 2022. They are arguably one of the coolest all-female rock groups in the UK at the moment, with critical acclaim to match. The band, consisting of frontwoman Rakel Mjöll, Alice Go (guitarist, vocalist), and Bella Podpadec (bassist, vocalist), are noted for their infectious blend of punk rock, pop, and indie rock music.

Dream Wife was included on Rolling Stone magazine's list of "The 13 Best Things We Saw" at the 2018 Lollapalooza music festival. BBC Music's Kev Geoghegan and Paul Glynn called the group "a jaw-dropping live act and one of the most talked-about new bands of 2018." Joe Lynch of Billboard said that "Dream Wife are inarguably one of the most exhilarating live rock bands to emerge within the last few years."

The trio, whose sophomore album ‘So When You Gonna…’ released last July, had plans for several gigs next month but was forced to postpone the dates due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now, their touring concert shows have been confirmed to take place in March and April of next year. Another act to perform in the tour include alternative/indie group Lucia & The Best Boys. More supporting acts are yet to be confirmed. You can now purchase tickets from this link.

The band took to their social media on March 18 to make the announcement. "Live music is finally coming back,” the group wrote on Twitter, adding yellow and green heart emojis. They added, "& us wives [are] going back on the road but we’ve had to move our UK tour to the start of 2022." European fans may also get a chance to catch the band live in their hometowns as Dream Wife teased its likelihood: "New European dates TBA." When announcing the project, the group shared, "It’s not quite the same. But don’t worry we’ll be together, we will be loud, and we will be unapologetically present soon."
