With the name Jack in the title, along with the words 'fallen friend', many are wondering if George Eads's Jack Dalton will be back on the show as a guest. Jack, as a character, was a former series regular, and writers must have known that fans would think of his return as a possibility since the name Jack is in the title. There has been no confirmation as to whether Eads will return to the show, and since he's not listed as a guest star for the episode, things seem a bit hazy. In fact, the name Jack, isn't tied to any actor in the cast of the episode - intriguing, right?
Mac had a partnership with Jack, not to mention even Riley had a personal connection with the character, which would make sense that the team would find it hard to help Jack if he is in fact the "fallen friend". Does that mean Dalton is dead? What else could "fallen friend" mean? if that's the case, fans ask desperately for the show to "be better", or give Jack the send-off we all know he deserves. Many hoped that when Eads left, he could be back on the show as a guest, but we're not sure anymore. We'd have to watch the episode to find out and see if they really meant the Jack we think they are talking about. Either way, the team would be highly invested in regardless of who this friend is, but if it's Jack, we've been waiting for this a while. 'Jack + Kinematics + Safe Cracker + MgKNO3 + GTO' will premiere on Friday, January 15, 2021.
