'Love Scene Number': Meet Kim Bo Ra, Shim Eun Woo, Ryu Hwa Young and Park Jin Hee, all-women cast of MBC's K-drama

The four-lead cast will portray four women of different ages, who are caught in the web of modern love problems, and must face the dilemma of moral values and what the heart wants

‘Love Scene Number’, a new production by Wavve and MBC is all set to make every K-drama enthusiast's heart swoon with a tight-knit story-line and an all-women cast-lead featuring some of the most popular actresses including Kim Bo Ra, Shim Eun Woo, Ryu Hwa Young and Park Jin Hee.

The four-lead cast will portray four women of different ages caught in the web of modern love problems, must face the dilemma of moral values and what heart wants. Kim Bo Ra playing the role of psychology major Doo Ah who is involved in a polyamorous relationship with three men. Shim Eun Woo acts in the role of Ha Ram, an elementary teacher who runs away from her wedding at an impulsive change of heart. Ryu Hwa Young will be found in the role of Ban Ya, an adjunct instructor at a university and Park Jin Hee will portray the complicated life of Chung Kyung, a furniture designer who has discovered that her husband of 20 years is secretly having a spiritual extramarital affair. Kim Bo Ra as Doo Ah



 

Kim Bo Ra will play the role of 23-year-old Psychology university major student Doo Ah. The 25-year-old actress gained huge popularity for her iconic performance in ‘Sky Castle’ (2017-2018). The ‘Goodbye Summer’ lead actress started acting as a child actor and so far starred in 15 films with four in lead and 33 television series. Along with that, the ‘Her Private Life’ star has also been featured in a number of music videos including ‘I Need You’, ‘The Day To Love’, ‘My First Love’ and ‘If You Listen To This Song’.

‘Suspicious Partner’ famed Shin Eun Woo will play the role of 28-year-old Ha Ram, an elementary school teacher who runs away from her own wedding at a sudden change of her heart. The 28-year-old South Korean actress has acted in a number of films like ‘Queen of Walking’ and ‘Sixty Days Of Summer’ and television series like ‘Wanted’, ‘Suspicious Partner’, ‘Rebel: Thief Who Stole the People’, ‘Less Than Evil’, ‘Radio Romance’, ‘Arthdal Chronicles’ and the ‘World of Married’. Her convincing lead in JTBC’s  ‘World of Married’  as Min Hyun Seo, the girl who is a victim of relationship abuse.

Ryu Hwa Young as Ban Ya



 

Ryu Hwa Young aka Hwayoung will be portraying the character of 35-year-old Ban Ya, an adjunct instructor at a university. The 27-year-old South Korean actress debuted in a K-pop group T-ara before venturing into her acting career. The K-pop singer debuted in the group in 2010 as a rapper and started acting in 2014 after signing an exclusive contract with Wellmade Yedang. The ‘Hello My Twenties’ star has acted in more than 14 television series and won the award of ‘Best New Actress’ for her convincing performance in ‘My Father is Strange’ and ‘Mad Dog’.

Park Jin Hee, the award-winning popular actress of South Korea will be acting in the role of 42-year-old Chung Kyong, a furniture designer who has discovered that her husband of 20 years is secretly having a spiritual extramarital affair. The 43-year-old actress who has been acting since 1996 has won more than 15 awards for her iconic roles. Her most famous lead roles in television series include ‘Please Come Back’, ‘Soon-ae’ (2006), ‘War of Money’ (2007), and ‘Giant’ (2010), along with films like ‘Shadows in the Palace’.
