MAMANUCA ISLANDS, FIJI: 'Love Island USA' Season 6 has recently wrapped up the latest instalment with crowning winners, Serena Page and Kordell Beckham with $100,000. After the finale, Ariana Madix dropped a surprise bomb with a reunion announcement.
She revealed that the reunion will premiere on August 19, the same date when Peacock's new subscription plans will come into effect and the viewers are disappointed with it. NBC has recently announced a 33% hike in its subscription prices. The new subscribers now have to pay $7.99 for Peacock's Premium ad-supported plan.
Previously, the users had to pay $5.99 per month. Meanwhile, the Premium annual plan cost jumped $20 to $79.99, up from $59.99. However, the ad-free 'Premium Plus' plan is even more expensive, with a huge jump from $11.99 to $13.99 per month.
The annual cost also increased by $20 to $139.99 per year, up from $119.99 per year. The new plans will be implemented days before the hotly anticipated 'Love Island USA' reunion and 2024 Summer Olympics. However, the viewers started a Reddit thread and criticized the streaming platform for its new price hike.
