PACIFIC HARBOUR, FIJI: A new, steamy season of 'Love Island USA' finally premiered on Peacock with an exciting episode. This season, the islanders headed to Fiji but it seemed like its not all fun in paradise for the sexy singles. If they want to remain at the tropical villa, the contestants have to pair up.

Any single who failed to find a partner will have to return home. The cast has to make strategic alliances and endures huge challenges while winning over viewers, who will be voting on who gets to stay on the island and who has to leave. The last couple standing goes home with $100,000. However, as soon as Victor Gonzalez entered the villa, the viewers started buzzing about who they dubbed to be Jason Momoa's lookalike on social media.

Who is Victor Gonzalez?

Victor hails from Madrid, Spain. He is a wrestler and eventually won a wrestling scholarship that brought him to the US. Victor has also won a national championship in his home country. However, he later moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Like many other stars, he’s kept his family life private. He also does cosplay as Aquaman at children’s parties. Victor finds the job fun but it can be sometimes very awkward, especially when the mums of the children want to take pictures with him more than the children do. Victor describes himself as a 'book boyfriend,' which is apt considering his status as a romantic novel writer. He also admits to liking romance novels and Disney movies. He says that people often think he looks like Jason Momoa and sometimes he sees it too. He also wants people to know that despite his appearance, he is a "big softy."

'Victor is giving Aquaman. Why did the girls not move???'

Unfortunately, no girls chose Victor at first and the viewers were quite disappointed. A social media user wrote, "Y’all not moving for Jason momoa dupe??? Bergie I hope you have some thick skin." Another Twitter user said, "Nobody moving to Jason Momoa???? Chile." Another viewer noted, "Victor is giving Aquaman. Why did the girls not move???" "I'm shocked that none of the chicks went for Aquaman. The other dude that didn't get picked, not so much," added another person. Another user said, "Victor is the only hot one and no one wants him?!" Another critic penned, "Wtf victor was hotter than both Leonardo and Marco. ARE THEY BLIND."

What is Victor Gonzalez looking for on 'Love Island USA' Season 5?

Victor is the only person not born in the USA on this season of 'Love Island USA'. Victor, whose celebrity crush is Emma Watson, is looking for a partner. He is looking for his "fairytale princess," a girl who has a great personality, as looks do not matter as much to him. He also wants a woman who is confident and can look him in the eye. He entered the villa and one of the girls immediately called him Tarzan and Aquaman. Despite his will to demonstrate his manliness, there’s a softer side to him. Victor hopes that both the softer and manly sides of him can help him get a dream romance.

'Love Island USA' Season 5 premiered on Peacock on Tuesday, July 18. During premiere week, new episodes will be available to stream every day at 9 pm ET. Subsequently, new episodes will be released on Thursdays through Tuesdays on Peacock.
