Love Island 2018: All the gossip, rumors and possible contestants revealed so far for the show
Ever since the host of the popular dating show announced that there would be a second season coming in March, fans of Love Island have been excited to find out who might be entering the Casa Amor in this year's series, even though no one has been confirmed yet.
Last year, Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies were crowned the winners of the dating show, and speculations are already on as to who will grace the screens of millions of fans this year.
Here are some of the possible contestants who are rumored to be joining the show for this current season.
Dani Dyer
Dani is the daughter of actor Danny Dyer and was supposed to join the cast of Survival of the Fittest, but she had to back out owing to a terrible arm injury. Although Dani has previously denied being approached to step on the Island, she's in talks with the top bosses as per reports.
According to the Daily Star, "Producers saw in the brief time they got to know Dani that she is surefire TV gold like her dad. She is funny, sharp and sexy, in many ways, she is the perfect Love Islander."
Taylor Ward
The 20-year-old is the daughter of The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Dawn Ward, and is a model and influencer with a social media following of 105,000 on Instagram. The blonde bombshell has also been in the news for her relationship with Sam Reece, Stephanie Davis' ex, and for her controversial boob job.
The fashion student told Manchester Daily News in an interview: "I'm a massive believer that if you don't like something change it. [I] have had amazing support from our mum, she knew it was something that really bothered us and she totally supports us making our decisions, and I am an adult now, she can only advise me."
Katie Snooks
Katie is a 29-year-old YouTube star, and one of the first contestants who has confirmed her entry on the show with an Instagram teaser post. Katie tweeted the email screenshot, with the words: "So tempted..."
The East Londoner studied photography and started blogging at an early age, where she documented her life, beauty tips and fashion choices.
Ethan Allen
Ethan is the show's previous contestant Gabby Allen's brother, and his brief appearance on the show to meet his sister left fans swooning at his exceptional good looks.
As per a Sun insider, the 23-year-old was first skeptical about joining the show's cast, but his sister Gabby has been convincing him to join the show for its second season. "Ethan didn't want to go on the show initially, even though Gabby had such an amazing time. But producers were keen to get him on board and he's been in for a couple of meetings."
“He's not fully on board yet, and it's too early to say who's definitely going on the show, but he's in talks and Gabby is encouraging him to do it."
Elizabeth-Jayne Tierney
Elizabeth's claim-to-fame is her previous boyfriend Jamie O'Hara, who is a footballer and a former Celebrity Big Brother star. It was Jamie who brought on the speculation that his ex-girlfriend was joining the dating show, in an interview with Mirror Online.
Jamie supposedly went on a holiday with her, after which he revealed she will "probably end up going on Love Island"."I think they've been asking her to do it so I think she'll end up going on."
Kem Cetinay
In one of the most surprising twists on the show, Love Island winner and Dancing on Ice star Kem has hinted that he might make a comeback to the popular dating series, on an Instagram post which he put up recently.
Kem posted a picture of himself looking golden and tanned on the beach, and captioned it: "Missing the hot weather, wouldn't mind another summer in the villa. Second time lucky."
