What happens when 'The Circle' meets 'The Proposal'?- you get 'Love Is Blind,' an exciting new reality dating show that makes blind dates look easy.

Release date

A total of 10 episodes, of which the first 5 are scheduled to drop on February 13, and the next 4 on February 20. The viewers will get to witness the 2-hour finale releasing on the 27th.

Plot

Every individual will be given pods, through which they'll be chatting with their to-be significant others. As their small-talks graduate into serious, full-fledged conversations, the couples will then have to make concrete decisions about their engagement. Once engaged, they'll meet each other for the first time and decide how they can best plan their upcoming wedding. This is easily harder than 'Married At First Sight.'

Cast

98 Degrees-fame Nick Lachey and wife Vanessa Lachey will be hosting the show together. The couple isn't new to television or to hosting shows, which is why it's quite the cakewalk for both of them. Moreover, Nick is not new to reality TV and has had enough and more experience on 'Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica.'

Talking to Today, Nick said that he was surprised that a concept like that wasn't realized before. "Our first thought was, 'How in the world has this not been done before. You get to know people for the essence of who they are," he said. Vanessa agreed with Nick, said that when they started dating, it was a long-distance relationship they were into, which forced them to strengthen it on the basis of communication alone because there was no physical intimacy.

Showrunners

The unscripted dating show is being executive produced by Kinetic Content’s Chris Coelen, Sam Dean, Ally Simpson, Eric Detwiler, and Brian Smith.
