'Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood' fans puzzled over Brittany B's imaginary singing skills after she left everybody in shock with atrocious vocals

Brittany B, the newest addition to ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ season 6, has already managed to ruffle a lot of feathers with her big mouth and “loyalty”. She introduces herself as the singer, producer, engineer and songwriter! Giving us the impression that she is a woman of many talents, however, one of them went bust in episode 5 that aired on Monday, September 2.

Brittany, who is an A&R at Warner Music Group, is shown as a promoter of talent and in an earlier episode, we saw her encouraging Blac Chyna to take up a musical career. While we are all for promoting talent especially amongst women, Brittany appears to be very selective of her choice and she can be seen talking trash about the ones she doesn’t think are good enough.

For instance, her co-star Moniece Slaughter invited her to attend one of her rehearsal sessions with Apryl Jones and give feedback. While Brittany seemed supportive of Moniece’s vocals, she wasn’t so kind towards Apryl. She felt that Apryl lacked talent and wasn’t a great artist!

When she heard the news of Lyrica Anderson’s possible return to the music industry, she seemed overly critical towards Lyrica. She had nothing good to say about Lyrica or her talents. It is to be noted that Lyrica is a pretty good singer, and back in the day, she was successful in her own right. But what was interesting was that Brittany inserted herself in the situation, by proclaiming herself to be better than Lyrica.

When an opportunity presented itself for Brittany to display her talent at Jason Lee’s event, she excitedly snatched it. Even Lyrica was present at the event and was the closing act. Brittany is constantly seen belittling Lyrica in her confessionals calling Lyrica an old nobody. When it was finally her turn to perform on stage, she left everybody in shock with her atrocious vocals. But, Brittany was under the impression that she killed it, and goes on to say that there are some people who can sing and some people who sang (referring to Lyrica’s past musical career), and she proudly puts herself in the first category.

She then proudly adds that Lyrica wouldn’t be able to match her talent. Lyrica, however, puts up a wonderful performance. Fans were puzzled over Brittany’s imaginary singing talent and made several hilarious tweets about it. A fan wrote, “Brittany said there’s people who sing and there’s people who sang yet I didn’t hear her do neither of these  #lhhh”. Another fan tweeted, “Brittany B said watch a real Sanger sang, and we could barely sang too. Where are those vocals you speak of? They were trash and the song was trash. Now critique yourself hun. You one semitone above Apryl on the vocal ladder. #lhhhollywood  #LHHH”.
