'Love Goals': Release date, plot, participants, trailer and all you need to know about the show on celeb couples

The reality series will come on OWN where a therapist will counsel five celebrity couples over their troubles

For those who enjoy the taste of reality television, this one's for you. Oprah Winfrey Network has announced a new relationship series titled 'Love Goals', which will premiere in March 2020. The series joins OWN's popular Saturday night lineup of unscripted shows that focus on love and relationships. The production company, responsible for 'Celebrity Rehab', 'Couples Therapy', and 'Family Therapy', brings the new show where a therapist counsels five celebrity couples, who are going through difficult times in their relationship.

Release date

'Love Goals' will air on OWN, at March 7, Saturday at 9 pm ET.

Plot details

A therapist will counsel five celebrity couples who are at the crossroads of their relationship. The official synopsis reads: "Their challenges range from fame and power, to overcoming infidelity, childhood trauma and communication issues. Through an intense two-week therapy program that features both insight-oriented exercises and special guests, the famous couples will face and hopefully resolve their most challenging problems."

Participants

Appearing in this season of 'Love Goals' will be Benzino and Althea Heart, whose troubled relationship is well-known, as they featured in 'Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta', Former NFL wide receiver and rapper Dwayne 'Money' Bowe and Theresa Bowe, who have been together for 11 years and married in 2018, actress and former 'Basketball Wives'  star Sundy Carter and Breyon Williams; former Salt-n-Peppa group member Dee Dee 'Spinderella' Roper and comedian Quenton 'Q' Coleman, along with rapper/actor/chef and producer Coolio and his fiancé, Mimi Ivey.

Host

Spirit is a licensed therapist and media personality who works hard to empower people with skills, tools and information, vital to developing, sustaining and maximizing healthy relationships. Spirit was the host of Fox's 'The Daily Helpline,' and XM/Sirius' nightly radio program 'Talking with Spirit'. She is also a regular guest of HLN, 'Dr. Drew: On Call,' 'The Bill Cunningham Show' and 'The Rickey Smiley Morning Show'.
