Netflix 'Love, Death + Robots' Season 3: 5 things to know about animated sci-fi anthology
The highly anticipated animated anthology ‘Love, Death + Robots’ Season 3 is finally ready for its premiere. Season 1 was released in March 2019 and season 2 in May 2021. After its initial release, the animated anthology received critical acclaim as well as high viewership and is one of Netflix’s top shows.
‘Love, Death + Robots’ includes both Sci-Fi fantasy and adult animation. The format of the series has been compared to 'Black Mirror' (2011) and 'The Twilight Zone' (1959 TV Series). The series was conceived when David Fincher ('Fight Club') and Tim Miller, co-founder of Blur and director of 'Deadpool', wanted to make a film inspired by the comic series 'Heavy Metal'. Season 3 has been scheduled to be released on Friday, May 20, 2022, on Netflix. The new season will consist of only eight episodes, and viewers will get the chance to watch them all at once.
