'LHHATL' Season 10 B: Yung Joc REVEALS why he feels uncomfortable while talking to gay people
Yung Joc is best known for his hit 2006 single ‘It’s Goin’ Down'. He is also well-known as a reality star thanks to his stint in VH1’s hit reality series ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.’ The smashing rapper recently revealed why he feels 'really tense' when talking to ‘gay people.’
Talking about the rapper, we saw Yung Joc’s evolution from being in a sticky situation with other artists to finally finding his one true love this season with Kendra Robinson. In the upcoming season of ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,’ audiences can expect some huge drama on Yung Joc’s wedding day, with the love of his life Kendra Robinson accusing him of cheating on her by fathering another woman’s child. It seems like monogamy isn't the rapper's strong suit, as he has gone through lots of changes over the seasons. In a recent interview with Vlad TV, Yung Joc revealed he feels tense during conversations with ‘gay people.’ He also added he doesn't get why people feel the need to be open about their sexuality.

In a recent appearance with host Shawn Prez at Vlad TV on July 31, 2022, the rapper explained the reason behind his apparent discomfort. Joc said he doesn’t understand why people go public about their sexuality. He added, “My only question is why do people have to come out. I be like, ‘Damn, today is the day you want to come out? Why you want to come out?’ For me, I get a lot of tension when I have this conversation with people. I always ask what’s your sexuality got to do with what the f*** we got going on?”
He also added, “Hey guy, if you wanna suck some penis, do that! That’s your f***ing business… Why does everybody have to come out and be like, ‘Hey, I’m gay!”
Yung Joc eventually answered his own question, pointing to people feeling “liberated” and not feeling the need to “hide” in plain sight anymore. He said, “I think it’s a form of liberation maybe because they don’t have to hide anymore. Maybe they’ve had to hide behind their truth. I am not bashing but I just never understood why does it have to be announced. I guess maybe they feel reborn when they come out. Maybe instead of pink and blue there’s a multi-coloured rainbow that signifies, Hey it’s a god damn reveal.”
‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ Season 10 B premieres on August 8, 2022 on VH1 at 8 PM ET.
