'Love After Lockup' Season 3: Why is Lindsey running away from Scott? Fans call her 'scammer of the year'

Scott and Lindsey's relationship is yet to begin. He was excited to pick her from the airport and had made all arrangements for it. He hired a limousine, bought an expensive steak dinner, and a cake -- all of that just to give Lindsey a special and warm welcome. But his efforts were all overshadowed by the fact that Lindsey never came out of that arrival door. He has no idea if she took the plane, and no phone calls were made. Dejected and worried, Scott told Larry, the limo driver, that he would feel a lot better if he knew Lindsey's location.

Scott even informed Lindsey's daughter over a phone call that she won't be seeing her mother anytime soon because he doesn't have any idea where she is. She sounded crushed. In the preview clip, we see how Lindsey admitted to not being completely happy with her situation. "I had this perfect picture of how it was going to be when I got out. But I missed the mark," Lindsey said. What or who was she referring to? The context is unclear as of now. 

However, fans are convinced that Lindsey is scamming him. One cannot help but feel for Scott especially after seeing him excited about her arrival. In one of the previous episodes, he hired an interior designer to do-up their home, in which he would be living with Lindsey. His goals are clear but what does Lindsey want?

That Lindsey is a "gold digger" has been a popular opinion among fans ever since 'Love After Lockup' premiered. They had issues with her talking openly about how much she wanted a big house, a big ring and to settle down.
