WE tv-backed 'Love After Lockup' Season 3 is all set to return with new episodes on October 9, Friday, and with it, newer storylines. Jessica and Maurice were having trouble trying to settle as he had to abide by his parole instructions, but not anymore. He has a travel pass, which allows him to undertake inter-state travels, which Jessica thinks much better than being stuck in a particular state.

Maurice is obviously thrilled about being back home and sharing a house with Jessica. He cannot stop talking about how comfortable the bed feels because for weeks he has been staying at friends' and relatives' homes, which was obviously not an ideal situation for him. As he tries to get intimate with Jessica, she announces that her period was three weeks late, implying that she may be pregnant. Maurice was elated to receive the news and couldn't wait to get a pregnancy test done. But he had his concerns.

"If we're having a baby, I really really want to be there financially this time. I am for sure ready to be a father to a newborn baby," he said during his confessional and added that at the same time, it was making him "nervous" because he has to be on parole for 6 months to a year. In addition to this, he has to get a job and be stable, and that alone is a lot to think about at the moment.

Stability is a primary concern when a couple prepares for parenthood. Shane and Lacey of 'Life After Lockup' were faced with a similar predicament. While they were ecstatic to welcome triplets, they also had to be ready for the expenses that come with raising kids. While Lacey spoke of how it would financially challenging to support six kids (three from before), Shane was more concerned about the health risks that were involved. The doctor, however, has asked the couple to take it easy as they'll know if it'll be a triplet pregnancy once the weeks have progressed.
